We want your child to feel happy and secure from the very start. That’s why each child is given a ‘Key Person’, a special member of staff who will build a close bond with your child and support their wellbeing, learning, and development. They’ll also be your main point of contact, keeping you updated and always available to chat about your child’s progress.

Before starting at Lily Pad, your child will be invited to attend a few short, personalised settling-in sessions. These give them a chance to get to know their Key Person, meet the other children, and explore their new environment at their own pace.

You’re encouraged to stay with your child during the first session, and as many others as needed. Every child is different, and we’ll work with you to make sure your child feels comfortable, confident, and ready for their Lily Pad adventure.
